I love this family. Let me just tell you that right off the bat. I’ve known Erin since September, we met through school, and I’ve heard heaps about her family over these past nine months. There are her 16-year old twin brothers, who are smart, speak German, and maybe are just as fun as she is. Her mom is a teacher and dad is a lawyer, and I’ve been told that they play duets together on the piano and organ. And they spent spring break of this year in the Philippines working at an orphanage, as a family. So cool! I’ve been excited to meet this awesome family all year.
A few weeks ago, Erin’s family came to Seattle to help her pack up everything and move it for the summer. We figured it was the perfect opportunity to take some family portraits. Luckily the crazy Seattle weather seemed to agree and the sun came out just in time. We spent the morning wandering around Golden Gardens park talking, laughing, and taking pictures. As always, I loved watching the dynamics between Erin, Nick, and Matt. Siblings are fun!
So here you go…some Braaksma family portraits.

Here is Matt…

And this is Nick…

Meet Erin…

I love this next frame. I asked for silly faces, and this is what I got…

Favorite frame of the day!

And of course I had to get a shot with my Erin! I miss that girl.

{To the Braaksma family} I so enjoyed spending the morning with the 5 of you. Thanks for letting me spend time with you and get to know you a bit. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
{To Erin} If you read this…I miss you. And I hope you like these pictures. I know how excited you were. Can’t wait to hear about Vietnam. Please come back soon. Okay? Thanks. : )
